The only thing I could add to this is... I wouldn't throw away my money for a frontend alignment, without doing the other one, or, two axles. Front end alignment is OK (kinda) but, lining up the whole thing is mo-bettah.

I'd suggest it's because as a rule (unless someone slips thru the cracks) they only sign "adults", with a serious trucking background. Eliminates lots of heartburn for them that way.

Watching all those "pretty" trucks sit on the side of the road or in a repair shop lot makes me real thankfull for my wayyy pre emission 1992 tree thousand dolla Farmall. She wern't pretty, but, knew how to git R done.

I'd say it means most of the contractors and drivers i worked with will wish they had stood a bit closer to the plate and hit the ball a bit further, or, more often, or, sump"in more. The $crew'in the pooch in more ways than just work ethic, prolly'll come back to roost. Sooner than later.
