Fed Ex and can't see the forest for the trees

If we're gonna show pokies here, I wanna see Jennifer Aniston's :D , NOT Phil's  'Course the very idea may send a couple mods reaching for the padlocks :D

This one probably should've gone on a straight truck

Haven't seen one in a couple years, but I used to see what I called "Mexican Road Trains": A class 6-8 cab & chassis with truck cabs, tires or even a vehicle chained to the frame, PULLING another box truck with a car sticking out the back of the box!   I'd be willing to bet...

    Cube Van

This was addressed before in the forums. Canada requires logging at or above 4500 kg. In 'Murrican money that's 9920 lbs. Ten K is 4536 kg, so there ya go.

    Yet another bus crash

We have a lot of older roads here in PA, and in the Northeast in general. You think 70's bad? Try I83 near Harrisburg! 83 is fairly decent in MD but when you cross into PA, it's bumpy, narrow, etc. They're working on it, but the worst part is right in the city (Hbg) where you go from 4 lanes to...

Having never heard Dakota's voice, the one singing in my head when I read this was Alex Debogorski's from IRT  :D

    48" tall freight

I did read that thread, and sir, that is a sweet ride :D If I had $34K I'd snap up Jack's truck in a heartbeat! :) If I bought it now I'd get a frying pan upside the head soon as I walked through the door

AC Lines rubbing on DD 13 short hood

I think Bob did a smart thing! Last time I had to deal with chafing, I used Desitin on it; the baby girl I applied it to goes to college in 3 weeks. Where does the time go?

Another cool addition to the expo!

I watch IRT & love it. Lisa explained the hair color change as "I was tired of being seen as a dumb, helpless blonde"; she believes she'll be taken more seriously as a trucker if she doesn't look so ditzy. IMHO she is improving, skillwise; Carey (the African American guy) seems to think so too...

    48" tall freight

Paid Brightbill a visit today. It would seem that paratransit vans today are built like "short buses" because a DRW cutaway is a safer foundation to build such a vehicle on, rather than the old 15-passenger vans; those vans have been involved in some nasty wrecks over the years. They told me...

Oh OK, you're right. But I wonder what his mother-in-law was thinking when she named her daughter "Jujubeans" ? :D Just the same, I don't mind if OVM spells funny, as long as he doesn't smell funny  :D

The Sinking Of The Titantic - FDCC

Spent the late 90's on new home construction, as a mason's helper. I believe it will be a long time before new home construction reaches the levels it did before the crisis hit. A LONNNG time.
