After all we wouldn't have truckers without the government roads. They actually believe stuff like that.

    Shredded, Scatterd and Gatorred

That's very true about air pressure and tire wear. The biggest thing about Nitrogen is the tires don't heat up as bad. With Nitrogen your tires won't swell as bad making less resistance rolling down the road, hence better fuel economy.

    HIGH SWR's

Spend a few dollars on a 2ga cable and run a ground from the cab ground post to the frame ground stud. Freightliners have a terrible ground on the cab. The cab grounding post is located right in front of the driver under the hood (has a few wires running to one post) Frame ground or main...

    Load 1!

From my experience, it's almost or is impossible to run a trucking company of any kind w/out having drivers complain about something. If management were to listen to every complaint out there it would drive them nuts. Taheee/Taheee/Tahee.

    About LRT Expedite

Maybe to clarify myself. I'm not talking of recieving just carrier payments. If you have ever brokered or done business from the carrier side for any amount of time you have lost a payment. John has a collections department and so does everyone else with any size to them. Shippers are...

    About LRT Expedite

Yes you are new. Why did you let 8 loads go by?? So now you know and really not much you can do now except to move on with a new carrier and use it as a learning tool. We've all lost a payment at least anyone that's been in it for a while and it's part of doing business. We don't like it but...

BBC Breaking News: Boeing and United Airlines announce $14.7bn deal

The Boeing 737 is primarily built in Renton Wa. South side of Seattle. They are expanding the facility to other locations because of limited area to build. All the parts for the 737 air-frame are constructed in the US except for the wing slats which are produced and imported from Japan. They...

    LRT Expedite closes it's doors.

You must be running an honest ship. Most Brokers are BS artists and call it good salesmanship. It will catch them later on. A man that runs an honest business will be remembered well for just that. I have friends that ran company's back in the 70's and 80's that are still talked about how...

    Multi-Carrier Thread

There is so much in what you say. Your paragraph probably takes out half the Owner Operators. Company's used to have Maintenence accounts that would automatically take out so much for breakdowns from each settlement sheet. Good idea if its with a reputable company.
