So, who's coming to the expo?

That's good, had me worried for a moment. I know it takes awhile for Expediters to get up early especially if they are Load 1 drivers. I'm sure John was buying all night and Dennis was selling C/Max's. Wondering if the Load 1 Cheer leaders were putting on a show in the lounge??? Pick, Pick...

    Hazmat's Ford TerraMaxx

I may have missed it but I see Ultra Max and Terra Max is not at the Expo like last year. I guess they haven't sold enough of these vehicles in our market to justify it. Any input on this??

    Hazmat's Ford TerraMaxx

Back when Chef got his there was talk of laminate flooring. Well I did that on one of my C/Vans and will do it from now on. Went to Home Depot got enough to do the floor and got the under laymant with it. The flooring is not quite 1/2 inch and with the under laymant it fits flush with the...

I also think the 6500# advertised weight is with the dual wheel set up. I think.

    Hazmat's Ford TerraMaxx

I understand with your C/Max but the Ford wheel base is somewhat shorter, that's why I was curious. Fords also have a differant front axle design than Chevy. I have heard several people say that their Ford C/Vans are light on the front and handle accordingly. Is the Terra Max built by the...

    Hazmat's Ford TerraMaxx

Very nice and clean install. Do they offer an insulation package from the factory?? Am also interesting in handling characteristics when you load a pallet in the back behind the short wheel base. How does it affect your steering?? I have always liked the look of the new Ford front end but...

Remembering last year of record high temps on Saturday. I think it was 105 under the cook tent. Of course things cooled off somewhat when OVM put on his plad burmutas.

Federal Regulators Shut Down ‘Chameleon’ Trucker

And of course the CSA is a Government run operation. Do you really think the wrinkles will be ironed out??? LOL! Another example of a small carrier going out of business owing a lot of people a lot of money, then turning around and opening up under another name with another partner. Hope that...

    Electric cooling fan

That kind of heat is really hard on any engine confined to the area that the C/Van has. Best to up the rpms and pop the hood. An engine in a C/Van gets almost no air unless going down the road, its really hard on them.

    A good place to park!

Don't know if your still there but a Chevron T/Stop is on hwy 80 east side of town. Maybe we'll call it a fuel stop but lots of parking and just down the street from the P/d dept and they patrol it. Future reference. If you were going to Macon Ga that's how you would go.

    New CV team driver

Welcome. Unlike a TT team or a ST Team you can drop your spouse off at home for a few days off to get some breathing room and it won't stop your business. There will be comments about this but a company can re-adjust with a C/Van easier than their big brothers.
