another difference between the two carriers is the extra pennies that come of your rate for various things. like, do you have a fee charged to use your fuel card, any other fees charged by the carrier for whatever, the difference between getting the same rate for all miles and getting a flat...

thats the biggest hurdle to get past hear at Load One. most everyone is concerned about miles and cant quite understand the way we look at things hear because of how we are paid and the benefits of Load One itself.

a better ? would be to ask how many miles it would take at Load One to equal the pay you are currently getting for the 2000 miles you are driving now.

when you stretch one out that long and position the 5th wheel over the drives it takes almost all of the freight weight on the drive and trailer axles. the cantilever effect of the trailer pushing down on the drives lightens the nose making it pretty hard to overload. therefore they are only...

they stretch them long to get the weight off the nose, once you get long the front becomes non existent and you are basically carrying all your payload on 3 axles.
