Yea I think I'm going to Paint it another color since its not on with FedEx anymore. It's a neat truck. I have a picture of Mark Martin's #6 Nascar parked in front of it. Did alot of cool loads for FedEx in that truck. Now it's going to Panther with the other 6 trucks.

Yea we was without power for 5 hours last night. I called Ohio Edison and they said they had 400,000 people wihout power and some may wait up to 3 days to get their power back on.

You should have no problem getting a good load on your birthday. I always got good loads away from my home. Now getting back home is another story.

Thanks Iceroadtrucker. My father loved driving truck and died getting out of his D-unit Dec 31, 2001. I never understood why he loved it so much until I started driving over the road in 1995. This job is not for everyone, but when you get it in your blood it hard to stay away.

In this business you need to be a team to make money with a new truck. Most carriers will only let a solo do 550 total miles each day. So if a load comes up that is 506 miles and you are 70 miles away. You won't get offered the full load because your not a team. You may only get to do 300 miles...

FedEx has had that in place for many years and its worth every penny you pay. If your off for more than 7 days it will start to pay you on day 8. Most places you have to wait 30 days to start getting any kind of income. I had to use it and got paid on time each week. Protective is a great company.
