Looks like I'll be back in service tomorrow afternoon. I think I'll keep my personal hygiene to myself.

Would you run for a company if they had this?

This dramatic mystery, the plight of TJP, what an exciting time to be an EOer! Just imagine what tomorrow might bring!

Whats the longest you've ever sat?? And where was it???

I think TJ needs to take a serious look at the company owner in 2 regards. First, how seriously does he take the business and does he even have a clue what he's doing. He bought an E150 for you to use? That shows either complete ignorance of what the proper tools are for this job, or a desire to...

Guido, FWIW, I got about 480k out of the original trans in my E350 and I'm at about that same mileage on the rebuild. It was rebuilt at the trans shop. The original went with no warning at all. No hard shifts, ect. The rebuild is shifting a bit hard now.

Any Howard Stern/Bubba army fans in the EO world

Asjssl, the only one that seems to be getting worked up here is you. You aren't actually surprised that those that don't like him would post, ahh, are you? Geez dude, chill...

    Married solo drivers

LOL... I heard that! I got out of trucking for a while and ended up divorced. As it turns out, apparently I'm kind of an azz.

    eobr rules

The way I understand the personal conveyance rule I don't think it matters that I have a straight truck. If it was questioned, just open the doors. I do the personal thing quite a bit and have never run into problems.

This site is confusing, please read

I'm not sure what you're confused about. I would think after a month you'd pretty much have the lay of the land here. Why do you want to limit yourself to companies based in those states? When your out in "the system" it really doesn't matter where headquarters is. I live in northern Michigan...

I'll be at the house getting my tax organizer ready for my CPA. Hopefully, TJP will get the run of his dreams out of Laredo.

Gee Cheri, you seem to be saying "sophomoric humor" like it's a bad thing. No doubt, there are clearly some posts counts that are hugely inflated with idle, private conversation kind of chit-chat.

I had to laugh about that when I mentioned the former VP once. But, lets say the former VP was of Chinese decent and named Harry Wang. Would that be O.K.? Yep, nothing wrong with that. Harry Wang...

On duty time includes waiting to be dispatched.

It would be logged on the bottom line. Most carriers include a document in their permit books that release a driver from responsibility when waiting at a dock. You can then log 15 minutes to check in and dock, then if you're there for a couple hours that can be sleeper berth. As far as...

What's a condo sleeper gasket? Are you talking about the boot that's between the cab and the sleeper of an areodyne sleeper? Call the sleeper manufacturer.

    DOT bans texting for drivers

I wonder if the driver of the T/T that was wedged under a bridge in Chicago that was very clearly marked 12'4" last week was "just following my Garmin"?

    Idleaire closes

Not much of a shock. It seemed way to expensive to me. The money spent on that, when available, would be better spent on an APU that's with you all the time. My aircard and DirecTv, along with the Rigmaster, give me Idleaire everywhere I go.

I've been on a pretty good roll and just didn't want to disrupt the mojo. In addition to what you saw, it's also got a cracked windshield. It's time for it's annual DOT so it's time to get it all done. So, my job for the next week is to feed the wood stove, listen to this bulldog snore, and do...
