    Cow farts.....

That's all spurred on by veeegans who want to use GLobal Warming as an excuse to outlaw cattle. The fact is, cows can't hold a candle to the amount of methane gas that is produced by termites. It's not even close.

    Sunglasses

Well, glass already effectively blocks UVB, and windshields are specially treated to block UVA (which is why those sunglasses that automatically lighten and darken are useless behind a windshield). Side and rear windows aren't treated to block UVA though So when driving into the sun, the main...

    Black out curtains help

I dunno. When I first started I bought cab curtains at a truck stop. Designed for a tractor, they worked great in the van. Had hooks to hang over the sun visor pivot posts and other places. But being black, they do draw the heat in the summer. Eventually I went with the 7-layer thermal...

Question about promaster 2500 or 3500 with 12' length cargo area

It really doesn't explain it at all. Only about 30% of the GMA pallets produced each year in North America are used for groceries. The other 70% are used for things other than groceries. "... and then other various sizes according to need." I covered it there. I didn't see any reason to type...

The standard pallet size in the US is the GMA Pallet of 48x40 (GMA stands for the Grocery Manufacturers Association). It is by far the most produced size of pallet in the US, and is also the North American ISO Pallet. In second place is the 42x42 pallet, used primarily in telecommunications...

    Confirmation chaos

That's funny and ironic, considering SNL just did an 18-minute cold open on angry, unhinged Brett Kavanaugh, and barely mentioned Little Miss Perpetual Victim Barbie as if she was a background extra in this movie. They didn't touch her at all One thing to keep in mind is, it's well documented...

    The Fake News Depot

Well, we know the hippocampus isn't even fully formed until about age 25, so we think very differently in our teens and early twenties than we do even in out late twenties, much less in our fifties.

Question about cargo van fleet owners.

Do Car Deer Whistles Work? Deer horn - Wikipedia Best evidence is they don't work. Deer get acclimated to road noise, including deer whistles, and quickly decide its not a threat. But go talk to any random body shop guy. They'll tell you if it works or not. ;) Best way to avoid deer strikes...

Question about cargo van fleet owners.

Or a golden retriever. Or even a mean tumbleweed. Crash parts up front are designed to absorb the impact of a collision. When those parts are bypassed, one hundred percent of the impact gets passed directly to the body frame, which isn't at all designed to withstand that kind of stress. When a...

LOL No. The cartoonist, Gary Varvel, does almost exclusively conservative cartoons. Ronnie Ramos, the executive editor of the newspaper, has to pretty regularly apologize for Varvel's cartoons. He had to apologize for this one, too. :D This one cracks me up.

    National Parks

Yep. Federal parks roads are administered differently than the public roads the FMCSA deals with. In most cases the roads are Army Corps of Engineers roads. Even the very definition of a Commercial Vehicle is different within federal lands versus the public roads. If you're passing through a...

Question about cargo van fleet owners.

Do you know that putting one on a Sprinter or other unibody van, will likely total the van in the case of a deer hit? Instead of the collision parts up front absorbing the impact, a guard transfers everything directly to the body's frame.
