I want to install a 10 amp battery charger under my bunk to keep the batteries up while I am at home. It will be plugged in to shore power. Can I connect the 12 volt wires coming from the charger to the 12 volt posts on my inverter? Or do I need to run them to the batteries themselves. It would...

My belief: Never, ever, lease a truck from the company that controls how many loads you get. Too many what if's.

I started using Howes Meaner Cleaner every time I fuel and checking my mileage to see if this stuff works. I went from 9.25 to 10.75 MPG. I sure hope these numbers hold. When winter gets here should I keep using the Meaner Cleaner or switch to the other product? I wouldn't think it necessary...

Wow! Not rewarding big business with tax breaks for shipping jobs overseas. What a novel concept. I doubt it will happen as most of those big business' have a Senator or two working on there behalf (at least until November)to keep craziness like this from happening.

Delivered in Laredo on Monday evening. Stopped at the T/A for a shower. Wait time was 312 minutes:eek:. So we DH'ed to San Antonio. Picked up in Pasadena on Tuesday, delivered in NC on Wednesday evening. Now at the T/A in Whitsett.

I met a driver in Laredo on Monday who told me he had not gone 36 hours without a load in 5 months. He stated that his fleet owner paid 40 cents a mile to the truck regardless of the rate offered, so they just accept everything. I guess the fleet owner is not worried about being profitable.
