As a team we look at each load individually and what the load pays. Doesn't make any difference if the load is solo or team but what will the load do for us. Another item we do not pay any attention to is if the load is a B, C or D rate. If the load pays, is going to a better freight area...

Where you paying rent and/or taxes on where you lived?

I have a hard time with the 4 days a month. You have to be able to prove by paying rent, house payment or taxes on a home to get the per diem. I trust our accountant on this one as we are very rarely home every month or every other month.

Leo go ahead and try this out and keep us updated! The idea really does sound as if it will work. One of the hard things for us in the truck is you don't eat on a schedule sometimes and much to often you just grab something and keep going. We really need to get better disciplined in this area.
