Another group jumps on band wagon to ban cell phones

The TSG will be having a call with Deborah Hersman, NTSB Chairman and I will put call information on here. If you would like questions or concerns put them on here and the group will ask them of her. If we sit back and do nothing I have to wonder if this could become a law.

It's Sad What Happened at FedEx CC

Defensive? I asked a simple question why the interest from former FedEx contractors and why they are still interested in this wall. What does Panther and Landstar have for longevity? The question on this wall will be unveiled by FedEx not by me to the contractors.

It's Sad What Happened at FedEx CC

What I am not understanding is why someone from Landstar and with Panther would care about FedEx Custom Critical's policy about longevity?

It's Sad What Happened at FedEx CC

Former contractors should not rely on hearsay about their former company and what purpose is served when one cannot verify their posts on a public forum. Since you are gone and cannot verify your facts you have this one wrong and do not know what is happening in the area of which you speak...

Vehicle Maintenance Violations and Team driving

I questioned others more knowledgeable than myself on CSA and this is the reply I received: Warnings concerning a noted violation during a roadside inspection can be challenged through the DataQ process. If a violation of FMCSA regulations is noted and just a warning is shown on the...

Vehicle Maintenance Violations and Team driving

My thoughts are if I sign off on a post trip that everything is fine on the truck and there is not any tread on the tires then I falsified the log.

Vehicle Maintenance Violations and Team driving

Joe I think you are getting a little carried away.... If your tires are worn down to slicks both drivers are going to get hit with points. A headlight going out can be fought pretty easily as well as other things that go wrong that do not involve a long wear time.

    FedEx ground to FedEx cc???

Any of the companies will take a solo and then it is up to you to figure out how to make a living and make the system work for you. It is definitely a pro active system and not a reactive system. Talk to the recruiters from the different companies and compare notes. Ask about rates for loaded...

    Healthy food on the road

There are some ideas in the Women's Forum on this growing issue.... It is really a battle as food, sugar, and caffein is used to keep us awake and moving when we get tired. Once this habit starts it is really hard to break. All the same ideas park far away as possible fro buildings, when...

    Question about winter driving

Mortal Sin? Maybe you are talking about a division in FedEx Custom Critical and not the whole company? We are often several hours early to pickup or to deliver and have had no problems. I can only speak for how we handle a departure call when we leave a shipper. The load is secure and...

    Question about winter driving

That surprised me that most do not have the 15 minute window to get rolling. We do not call in for our departure call until we have the freight secure and we are ready to roll. We still get the fifteen minute window as often we still have to go through security to get back on the road or we...
