Actually when you are running multi carrier you are bidding against yourself. I'll take running for my carrier all day every day over the multi carrier system.

3/3 for me this week and 928 pd miles but the majic number is ? per mile. Now for sitting I don't do too much of that because after sitting for a day, I end up moving to another fishing hole. Hate sitting so it's on my dime. That's where the higher rate comes into play.
