    EOBR Regulation Vacated by Court

I cannot figure out how you can harass a person with a EOBR. What re they going to do to a company employee, tell them that their 10 hour break is up and its time to go back to work. Because they cannot make them violate the HOS. Wait I know how they would have harassed drivers that would have...

    EOBR Regulation Vacated by Court

Was at GATS and went to the LS safety meeting and even thou they are not going to require EOBR'S for the BCO's they will be making them available for any driver who wants one sometime before the end of the year. LS compliance also said in the meeting that when they make a decision on which...

    How's it Going at Landstar?

I must have missed the LEAM load board, oh wait there is none. The only load board is for T/L and LTL freight. LEAM side we call the agents or the agents call us. All my loads have come from a agent calling me.

    How's it Going at Landstar?

What's left out, they did 13 loads for a month and grossed 31K posted it and people are ripping them for posting the numbers. I say its refreshing for someone to post their numbers since mot claim they are doing great but never put their numbers out their to prove their claim. As for the LS...

    How's it Going at Landstar?

Yes, here at LS we are just short of being independent, but why go thru all the hoops of getting your authority, insurance including cargo, finding loads from brokers that slow pay for the most part. Brokers that charge you to get paid and so on. Maybe expediting freight brokers are different...

If I have learned anything from this industry, its if you don't own the truck you are screwed. I like the fact that I can do as I please when ever I please and have no one saying you can't do that

    Kirby Texas ... Landstar unit

Yes I'll be at GATS. I still have lots to learn, but it was the best move I've made in years to downsize from 18 wheels to 4 wheels, less stress and I take home more money since a good week I work 3 to 4 days instead of 6 to 7 for the same money to the truck.

    Flying J's

Coming from the big truck side of the industry, I'm still trying to break the go to the T/S habit. Starting to get away from T/S's more and more. Now trying to find different places with free WiFi and sit there and spend my money a little at a time.

mexican trucks in america are a fact.

I might add my two cents to the thread. 1. Mexican trucks will cross into the U.S to deliver their load and Two can pick a load up to take back to Mexico. Therefore, trucks that haul loads to the border cities will now be on Mexican trucks. Still they will not be able to haul all the loads...

    you van people......

I had 20 + years in a big truck with over 2.5 million miles and went to a 05 sprinter. I'm having fun not having to deal with the dot or logs. I guess the newer sprinter is wider and I know it's taller, plus it's longer.. will get a newer one in a year or 2 when I can pay cash like I did with...

Your a company driver, don't return the truck for free make them pay you up front to bring it back, because if you don't get the money before you give them the vehicle they wont pay you a dime.
