Monticello? I've never seen a sign that included RVs. No mention of overnight parking.

Did the police chase you out or store personnel? Do you know if there is a city ban on overnight parking or is it that particular store's policy. I've stayed at the Wal Mart just west of there in Monticello without a problem. I think we will see more and more Wal Marts banning overnight...

They sure do! These vans are built for the trades, local p&d etc. markets where maneuverability trumps ride, loadability and over the road stability. The expedite market isn't even a blip on their marketing radar.

The problem with that much weight is loading it properly. The 6' rear overhang makes it a challenge. These Transits get squirrely with too much weight behind the rear axle. Anything over 400 lbs. I have pushed up as far as possible. I have a 20' tow strap that I loop behind the lead pallet...

Vetting maybe a stupiding word but it is more politically correct than interrogating. Wouldn't want to offend any newcomers or long time liberal residents.
