We have a running joke about hubby's freight securement. I tease him about his need for just one more strap or load bar. Seriously, he's received many compliments from shippers and recievers about how he secures freight, and we've never had anything move or get damaged.

Yes, what they have told you is true. That being said, they have not told you that you will sit too. "Plenty of loads" is a loaded statement. If you take a load to a dead area then you won't have "plenty of loads". Hazmat and Government clearance will open up more opportunities for freight.
