I might be looking for a straight truck to drive in the near future, I'll even have to leave Landstar to make the change, since they won't let me upgrade to a larger truck because of the 6 month rule...

I have my class A with hazmat, but I've had this CDL before I got my Sprinter, That said, companies like Landstar require a Class B w hazmat, even in a Sprinter. Some companies like Landstar require 6 months experience before they will lease you on, that is unless you came from a big truck....

The other problem I have with with another freightliner dealer(Fyda Pittsburg) was they just did the blancer, but didn't even mention the noise in the rearend even after doing a road test after the work on the engine was done.

Will never know, but three things have given me problems since the start of June. Harmonic balancer went bad, replaced transmission now this. Not much left to change out once this is fixed.

When I took the van to ATC freightliner in Dallas they checked everything and did all my fluid changes. Therefore, if they say nothing needs to be changed I take them at their word. Looks like I was wrong about their level of service for the last 3 years.

McKinney Tx shop near a place I can stay for free....Hotels this year are killing me because of breakdowns and where they happen...Hell, to day I"m at a days Inn in KC and some idiot family thinks the pool is for dogs to play in... Now I know why I stay at Marriotts and Hilton brand hotels.

Well, price wise it looks like the Dodge dealer in McKinney Tx, since Freightliner in Dallas wants a min of 3500 to rebuild the thing and Dodge only wants 2K. Just don't know how long I'll be down this time, hope less then a week.... Was going to try for a load to the house, but I think running...

Okay guys, can anyone tell me what it's going to cost for a rearend rebuild on a 05 sprinter. Just got the bad news. The place that told me doesn't want anything to do with rebuilding the differental.

This year has been weird for me. Jan good, Feb sucked, March so so, Apr bad May good till I broke the tranny. June bad then again went on vacation so not one load for the month, July 2 loads and another break down, month was good because I did 7K for the two loads. Aug started good then went...

Complain to Pilot corp. they will listen and just maybe they will take action to allow vans to park out front. Pilot has been great about allowing vans to park out front. Then again, the pilot on 45 inside the loop isn't a place I like to stay at anyway, even when I drove a big truck.

Just because you are a truck doesn't mean that the person on your right can't pass you as long as their in their lane.

When making a left turn you can go to any of the lanes, at least that's true in Ca and even in Texas..Now if there are two left turn lanes than the inside turn lane only can use the inside lane and the outside turn lane can use the outside lane or lanes.
