    CDLs for CVs

Haven't met any. If they were truly truthful they would loose their job since they would not recruit anybody.

    Frosty February 2015

Ugh, I have been stuck at home for a week, and the 'warm weather' of yesterday didn't do a thing. I need to get out of here today, if I don't, it will probably be another week with the temperatures forecasted.

    Saying "no" to cheap freight!!

Re: Saying "no" to cheap freight!! I always say 'no' to cheap freight. The problem is that my cheap freight is not the same with other's cheap freight.

$1.00 here a $1.75 here and so on...

I've never used my fuel card. You get the same fuel discount whether you use the fuel card or the settlement card. I used to keep about 1k on my settlement card to use for fueling and other things if needed, but found out to be way to much. So I lowered it to $500. Never ran out of money even...

    My 2015 Ford Transit Experience

The 14.6 mpg for the diesel is really low. He should get way more than that, unless he drives the van like a race car.

It is like that virtually all the time I stop in. But I usually stop across the road at Lowe's when I am there. Free wifi to boot.

    Frosty February 2015

Well, last week on Monday night I froze my donkey off up there in Ohio somewhere( zero degrees indicated by my dashbord), so I had to plead with him and beg him for a Texas load. So Tuesday Sally got me one, but on the way to pickup it canceled. More pleading and begging and I got one to Texas...

    My 2015 Ford Transit Experience

The long and tall transits with the 3.7 engine are only available with 4.11 rear end. You can get the 3.73 with the ambulance package. 3.31 is not available with the normally aspirated 3.7 liter engine.

    Sprinter?? Transit?? Diesel?? Gas??

You can order the promaster with 2 optional paper bags with 2 holes in them, and they are reusable. So in the daytime just pull one over your head and nobody will recognize who you are. LOL.

Moot, gone are the days when we had 4 extra gauges besides the spedometer and tachometer. I would like to know especially what my oil pressure is doing over time, but it is just not available on any of the newer vehicles. I doubt that oil presure is available in the message center.

    Sprinter?? Transit?? Diesel?? Gas??

I've been doing a lot of reading on ProMaster 3.0 4 cylinder Diesel with the 'Automated' manual transmission. I am intrigued by this kind of transmission and the fuel mileage being reported and no downshifting going up a slight hill, or even in a headwind, like the gas version does. I definitely...

That doesn't sound normal. Is it a new unit? If it is, it might be that it is burning off stuff left over from the manufacturing processes. If it continues, have it checked asap.

    Frosty February 2015

Delivered my load at 'the yard' then went on to pick up another one in MI. Freeways were in perfect condition, but side streets are a mess. I had to go about 4 miles on side streets to pickup, and in some places the snow was soo deep, I almost got stuck a couple of times.
