It is likely one of those things that won't likely change. We have spent billions on the "war on poverty" and very little has changed. I would say in some areas, it has been worse.

They want to convict the white cop either way because it is politically correct. Not sure they will be successful. You will know when they are serious when they start actually addressing blacks killing blacks. Not expecting it any time soon because again, not a politically correct thing to do.

Most of it is how they are raised and how we enable the life of many of the poor. Some have very ligit reasons, but that hardly represents the majority. Sometimes I think we just have to realize, there will be poor people. Keep in mind, most of the poor in the US, are not really poor by world...
