That is the bottom line. As companies create that atmosphere, they either force their operators somewhere else, they quit, or they quickly become their competition. Then companies scratch their head and claim there is a "driver shortage".

That only works if the operator is negotiating their own freight. Someone leased to a carrier doesn't always have that option. You either take it or they give it to the next guy. Competition drives a lot of the low rates and low charges.

If one is worried about "bambooziling" people I would look no farther than our federal government. Religion of any type doesn't even come close. That is where I would put the focus if one is concerned.

Regardless of what side of the fence you are on, those people giving money to churches are often and many times used for a variety of charities. Not likely to find that coming out of the gay or non religious/atheist communities in the same portions. Doesn't mean they are bad, but they are in no...

If one is not religious, I don't know why they would care what the religious folks do with their money or anything else for that matter. No real reason for concern unless they demand you give to the church. Look at it as giving money for the causes of global warming.
