TO FLUSH OR NOT TO FLUSH?

I think I resemble that remark.

    Comdata cards or THC

I'm not sure about TAB and the others but THC will definately give you a positive drug test result. I think LSD will to. PMS is still up for debate.

Eatting a poppy seed bagel will make you test post

RE: Eatting a poppy seed bagel will make you test Eating marijauna brownies will give you a positive test result. So will crack cake and Benzadrine banana splits. You are what you eat.

    Wiper Blades

I believe Rex is referring to the Hella kit that replaces standard sealed beam units. These Hella kits look like sealed beam units but the bulbs are replaceable. They are available in two or four light configurations.

    Are They Lost?

No loads for me. I was on my scooter headed to Ellensburg, Seatle, Bellingham and points north. Coeur d' Alene, Coeur d' Alene, prettiest town I've ever seen........ And then there's Spokane.

    To Whom Am I Leased?

Thank you Kenny. It was the TW that made my head hurt. So the official name is Panther Expedited Services, Inc. Is the SCAC remaining PTWT? I like to use the SCAC when signing BOL's. Thanks again!

    To Whom Am I Leased?

The SCAC for Panther is PTWT. Not sure how they arrived at this. Kinda of cryptic like some personalized license plates. One more thing to ponder.

TO FLUSH OR NOT TO FLUSH?

There is an old Northern Minnesota (where the frost line can exceed 10') saying among home owners with septic tanks. If it's brown flush it down, if it's yellow let it mellow. How that helps.

Phreak, did you test all those lights about 03:00 this morning. My computer flickered and the lights in the house went dim.

    Cheap Freight

One mans cheap freight is another mans treasure!! Very true! Even a load that pays for fuel only is better than sitting or deadheading if it gets you out of a bad area.

    Wiper Blades

In a current post on winter driving I stated that I use Bosch Micro Edge wiper blades. I replaced my Bosch blades this weekend with a pair from Rain-X. The Rain-X blades have the traditional 2 pivot points on the main frame but have 4 instead of 2 pivot points branching off the main frame. In...

    FUEL PUMP

I found the high pitch whine is an indication of a plugged fuel filter. This causes the pump to work harder. My neighbor had a Jimmy with a 5.7. I noticed the high pitch whine and suggested he replace the fuel filter. That solved the problem.

    Propane in the truck

I have a Mr. Heater portable heater that uses the 1# propane bottles. I bought it for emergency use. I have never run it while sleeping, but have used it during the day to stay warm. My van is insulated and it will keep the cargo area and cab toasty. The cab is partitioned from the cargo...

    FUEL PUMP

Prof, an in-line fuel pump would be nice, but I not sure such a critter exists. I would be happy with an in-line fuel filter like the 5.7's had. I would change mine every 30,000 miles. The only pre-event symptom I had when the fuel pump went out in my 5.7 was increased cranking time before...

I REALLY DID TRY TO SEARCH FOR THIS ANSWER

Dave, I think I found what you were looking for. Marty6731 posted "Cargo Van" on the general forum. The original posting was Feb. 5, 2006. Terry used self tapping Zerks on his hinges. I remember him posting pictures but couldn't find them.

    Helping Others and Promoting EO

I would think the Hadley train horns qualify as a wildlife or any other form of life dispersal system. Paul, what is the Quadraleveler system. Is that similar to the system R.V.'s use to level the unit when parked?

    Icy Conditions in Winter

I don't believe there is any law that states a commercial must not drive in icy conditions. Unless of course the road has been closed. Or in the mountains when chain laws are in effect. I did hear a state trooper on the c.b. tell a driver pulling an O.D. load during snowy conditions that he...
