it was that some of van driver's all they had was the van. they didn't have a car or pickup truck, to drive when they were not driving for hire. so when they change status the system they were using didn't log as off duty. still log them as on duty or driving

they no longer make a 4 cyr diesel in sprinter, they couldn't get it certified by epa

some of companies that use van's like ceva , started out trying ELD, in vans but didn't work out the way they though it would.

most carriers want less than 5 years old to start , my feeling are if it looks good, maintained well, and pass a DOT inspection that should be go to. when I started at Roberts express and than Fedexcc plus EGL , they want no more than 5 year old period, for van's and class 5 to 7. class 8...
