    Engine Fan Problem

My engine fan has decided that it should turn it self on anytime I turn on the AC or defroster. It makes no difference what the outside air or engine temps are. It will continue to run for as long as 45 minutes after I shut off the air. I thought it might be the pressure switches/sensors on the...

    FedEx Breakfast

We enjoyed the breakfast as well. Jason spent quite awhile at our table and seemed to be interested in what we o/o's and drivers had to say. The best part was meeting up with old friends and making new one's. We were able to put faces to names, people we talk with in here but had never met. We...

That is correct on the Dod travel requirement. I had to do that for 10 years after I quit my DoD Job. I was not allowed to travel to several countries for 10 years either. I am not sure how long the travel notification continues on a secrect clearence once you give it up. Layoutshooter

    Increase MPG

The best way to get better mileage, even better than slowing down, is to get a pump that reads wrong. I filled up at a Pilot in TN the other day and when I checked my mileage it kept coming out at 18.71!!!!! NOT BAD!!!! I told the manger that his pumps where reading wrong, like 1/2 the amont of...

    Firearm Choices

Right on Leo, also look at Ruger revolvers and Kimbers. Kimber is a bit on the expensive side but they make a couple of nice .45 carry pieces. I carry a Ruger SP101 when I do carry. It is a 5 shot revolver in .357. Small, short barrel but a bit on the heavy side. It will do the job if needed...

    Fuel Mileage

We run a 450 MBE with a Eaton/Fuller 10sp auto-shift. The worst we have ever got was 7.5mpg. We were loaded VERY heavy with strong head winds. The best was 11.7!!! Running VERY light and at 57 mph. So it seems we should run empty and slow!!! Layoutshooter

    Expediting for me? Opinions Needed!

I agree, run for an owner for AT LEAST 6 months. We ran with one for 2 years before we bought our own truck. The lift gate is a must. Pays for itself fast. The reefer is a toss up. I am not sure if I would spec a reefer truck. Ours is but we bought it used and it came that way. I would also...
