    How busy is busy?

When it's busy for us as a team in a Sprinter if we need sleep we have to go out of service...we don't get the luxury of a 34 hour restart...they will literally pre-book us and run our wheels off...

    Thursdays???

That was my exact thinking....BUT I would have had to turn down a 675 mile one to do that...and that doesn't seem wise neither!! This biz could drive me crazy if I wasn't already there!:D

    Thursdays???

I seem to be on a roll of Thursday!! *LOL* I try to pick up as early as I can and pick up the pace and get it off as soon as I can...but lo and behold theres a swamp of other trucks around and it would take 2 or 300 mile drive to get out... I guess the solution would be to turn down anything...

    Thursdays???

How many out there get loads on Thursday and deliver Friday morning or worse yet noonish and get to rot over the weekend?? You end up being 4-6 in order and theres no real time to move and get any rest even if you do luck out....I hate Thursdays!!

    So much for the strike!

There ya go..the crux of the problem if the first trucker wants to negotiate with the shipper he's told to hit the bricks cuzz the shipper knows there'll be one that won't...The longer that frieght sits on that dock the more liable that shipper will have to come up in price...he'll be under...
