Marketing boards set the price and set the quotas that support that price. Why the farmers/ranchers have gone this way. I haven't a clue. I'd have to read the history of Can. farmers/ranchers to understand this....I am talking everything controlled by boards...Butter, milk, eggs, pork, chicken...
