Greg...Your right about MATS and probably every other truck show should have information booths and try to get the general public educated..and it wouldn't cost a bunch of money....The OOIDA sets up booths for joining up....but is there any info on the condition of our trade?? Not that I seen...
I would like to think there ain't trucker in this whole country that would turn that load down...truckers are softies at heart and they do care about this country.
And Eggs!!! Last year you could get a dozen for .75... the other day at Walmart $1,98!!!
And milk,,,don't even go there,,,the staples every family needs rich or poor...
Greg...I've noticed a trend in your responses and it seems any kind of physical protest your against....any particular reasoning?
People have to have an outlet for thier emotion not everyone feels better after writing thier congress person...it doesn't satisfy that feeling...sometimes just...
With the new Sprinters extended you could actually comply with the 75" length and still have 8 feet for 2 skids...
I thought the extended Chevy has about 12 feet??? You could still do a 1 skidder...but it would really eat into revenue.
We've had this discussion before....it would depend on the states definition of a truck and what they mean ALL commercial vehicles. In South Dakota the signs say commercial trucks over 8,000 lbs that would appear to mean Sprinters BUT what does thier DOT define a truck as....I should really go...
Horizontal and eyes closed like everyone else. *L*
Seriously...underload or empty???
IF CV's had to have a DOT sleeper they'd be down to one skid and the sprinters down to two.
Doesn't Panther not take dwell time into consideration???? It's hard to believe because I was 5 miles off a board and another one just unloaded and went to that board he'd get right back out and i'd not be offered the load.....and left to rot.
Me I think the damage has been done....I think she and her hubby should move on....It seems nearly every load there's a conflict of some sort.....both sides are tainted now and both are taking the high road and digging in thier heels. It's a lose, lose situation.
I've used the Sylvania Night Hawk for 19.95 and then about 2 months ago they came out with the ULTRA Nighthawk....29.95 as of this writing I now have a GE H7 from Walmart for 9.95...that tell ya something? AND the inside of my lens are slightly browned....The intense heat will almost melt...
