    Cargo Van Buying New Van

If you're good with the flywheel defects, it's a good van. Mind explaining the 20-50 cents off the pump price? Is that a carrier perk?

So you want to become an Expediter here's some info for you

If you haven't pulled the trigger yet, go thru the forums with a fine tooth comb. This is unlike anything you've ever done, and if you had all the information you need, you would know why asking about income is a pointless question. G license up to 26000 IIRC, with hydraulic brakes . . . yes...

I'm out. I'm beginning to realize just how different the US operating environment is...thanks to HighTide tho first thing I'm doing is sealing off those vents in the cargo partition of the sprinter... (Edit: make sure that lawyer works off commission they're worse than a bad carrier by the hour)

Cargo Van Should I even worry about not being Sprinter-high?

Don't do it. The raised roof will actually bring down the value and change the stiffness of the van. Insurance has some wiggle out room as well since you modified the van in a major way.(missed the roll cage, you'd have to call your insurance) Unless it's got a zillion miles sell it and buy...

Cargo Van This company will load with Hazmat, no insurance and leave you for dead literally

Carriers used to pull shenanigans when they owned the plate . . . back in the day they were perfectly willing to charge you with theft if you didn't comply . . . at best you were left where you were unpaid for that load with an unplated/invalid insurance vehicle needing to be towed

Mercedes sued over emissions (vw over again)

Anything blue-tec. It's at the stage now where epa is doing a review and has requested the information on how Mercedes-Benz does testing. The lawsuit by owners is a separate thing, dangerous to operate, the one test result being quoted is 8-19 times allowable nox in low temperature testing. It...

You're right on every point...for now . . . that's what business is, problem-solving for a price . . whoever figures this one out, and they will, will become rich by replacing the brokers and giving a better deal to drivers and shippers both. I also agree that shippers are not ready for it yet...

Well, this is Toronto here and Uber was ruled illegal until they did just what you pointed out. The drivers must have commercial insurance and a background check. It's a socialists paradise here and Uber caved to operate. I work in the same system you all do and genuinely like and appreciate...

What advantage does a broker / carrier give over today's tech, where a shipper could post his freight and price and a truck could do the same? Sitting for hours bidding could be replaced by entering your lowest desired pay on the truck side and highest desired rate on the customer side, a...
