IMO those tools are way more valuable than their cost. If you sit have a liftgate, you are a candidate for what may be the ONLY load out of that pit of an area you are in. Once the company trucks trucks started failing that I "inherited" in 2002, I started spec'ing all our straights the same...

Swing on in to O'Reilly's. Easy fix. Not deadheading 525 miles will pay for the blower motor AND the resistor. And they'll loan you the tools.
