E-track straps with a shorter lead line, like 1 or 2 feet vs 4 feet.

I used to buy straps by the case from USCC. Best price, when I cared, and excellent selection!! And super nice peeps on the phone too!!

Not sure. But the little Korean woman that did mine stitched them about 2-3 times as much as the original stitching and with a blended cord that was heavier. We found it to be very strong and NEVER failed us. Ever.

You can also get that done at a shoe repair shop. I used to spend $3 getting ends sewn back on when the ends cut thru the strap. Saved a ton over a few years. Just cut the end off an old strap and try it. Cheap fix.

Lol!! No. I'm partial to at least one every 24-36 hours. Even if run route to a long drop. I can bust out the entire shower stop in 20 minutes if need be. Unless there's a wait to get one, of course.

I skipped to the end so I'm sure this has been covered. PFJ fill for 14 gallons of gasoline gets you a 1/2 credit on the professional driver card. I usually stop and fill at 250-300 miles to gain my 1/2 credit and to gets the blood flowing again. LOL!! I usually finish the week with more...

But rest assured that if you were ours we would be watching and trying hard. It's difficult, and frustrating, to try to find that line between a good healthy rate and bidding a few cents too low. We bid a lot. We lose a lot. But it historically good all-mile averages. We are not perfect. But...

That's what I'm saying. I don't see those loads anymore unless I add those that's. I only add those states when I'm looking for a pick from those states.

    Microsoft Offie Excel.

After getting my last laptop, I couldn't get to my computer "hook up" guy to load it up with the Office Suite. So I downloaded Kingsoft's free "Spreadsheet" program. So far I have no found it to be much at all than Microsoft Excel. There are a couple of little shortcut differences, but whoever...

I actually don't even see those loads unless I'm looking for a load in those states. I added filters to my exchange server that I adjust when I'm looking in other states.

Yes, if I could scale what we're doing not it would be great. But I haven't officially started recruiting. We could add about 3-5 before we has to even consider spending any more money for ops. Of course ops is my background and experience. And I squeak what I walk ops.

95% profound. 5% recruiting. As you guys know, we can only add drivers that can be paid slow. I won't factor invoices. I won't juggle with driver's money. It's not mine. We would only add drivers that are basically financially able to sit on the load expense as long as we sit on the invoice...

Yeah. I've seen way too many Sprinter loads at 6 skids and 5000# and small straights at 1 for 36x36x36. I think there must be some newbie load posters out there.

I think I've been to only 2-3 Dana plants. I think it was Pottstown, the old super grimy one and one in Michigan that was super nice and clean. If others, don't recall.

I can't. Your carrier should be working JUST as hard for you as we work for ours. (and me) Don't take offense. But if your carrier isn't working for you, why are you working for your carrier.
