    Finally got the forklift

Your post to Sylectus yesterday was a good start. Problem is, you're very close to another XDock. And be there when they screw up.

it's october where are you at!

No. Wish our crystal ball was magic. Our guys sit too. But sometimes everyone is fortunate and you end up with 7 loads rolling on 6 trucks.

    Finally got the forklift

Doesn't take much space to cross dock. Most cross dock work are truck to truck or truck wait a while then truck. If you have more than about 2000 ft.² I would say start looking for storage customers as well. That's easy money pays for that forklift in space pretty easily. JJ Keller has some...

    It is Septemeber...where R U?

Closest I came to that was 3 @ 45" that turned into 3 @ 50". Seat all the way up and forward. Doors almost, but not quite shut. I don't trust bungees for something like that so I used a 2" ratchet strap around the doors. Thank God it was a shorty! I think it was the $2.47 a mile that...

    Phones Cell phone carriers

Is there Freight in St Louis for Cargo Vans/Sprinters?

St. Louis ain't what it used to be. Nor is Kansas City, Tulsa, Wichita, Little Rock, Memphis, Dallas, Houston, etc. Matter-of-fact seems these days nowhere is like it used to be. IMHO.

Yes. Hot machine oil on parts that had not been out of the soup long enough. Windows down a bit for a few hundred miles helped.

5 Best Cities For Freight (For Publication)

Agreed. Except we are having a heck of a time with Memphis this weekend. Been a couple of heavy ones out but just too heavy. And a 4-skidder that wouldn't fit. :(
