We've hauled a couple of loads that paid over $60.00 / loaded mile. Course, they were only 10 miles long :-) We just look at total pay / total miles, with an eye towards where the pickup is. More likely to say yes to a load picking up in New Jersey than to one in Montana.

We really didn't see that many load offers over the weekend or yesterday, either for that matter. Many trucks in the area. There were 11 FedEx D trucks sitting in the Trenton express center for most of the weekend. Several other carriers represented at the Petro in Bordentown as well. We did...

We delivered a load of supplies to four New Jersey stops this morning in Bridgewater, Edison and Linden. There were some traffic signals that were out, but not many. Didn't really see too much in the way of storm damage. Traffic was moving smoothly on US 202, US 1 and the Turnpike. We are now...

Bordentown, Petro. Cool, but the sun is shining. Front lot is almost full already. Mostly bobtails, but a few FedEx CC trucks, and a Panther straight just pulled in. Waiting for the beep :)

Be careful all the same. Some of the routes marked as truck routes have low clearances! (The crossovers through Central Park come to mind) There is a list of low clearances somewhere on the webpage ATeam pointed out. (Although some places marked as low really aren't and some are. Confused?!?)...

Petro in Bordentown. Things seem almost "normal" here. Several FEMA bobtails up front, several expediters from various carriers. Turned down quite a few loads today. Headed back to Ohio on Monday.

Headed East to Philly on I-40 @ Holbrook AZ. Took the scenic route from Phoenix, AZ-87 / AZ-260 / AZ-277 / AZ-377. Beautiful country, deserts to high pine forests. Wouldn't want to do that at night or when it's snowing , but sure was beautiful today :)

Leaving LA, though very slowly. Headed for Texas :-)

Sitting at our delivery a little south of LA. Had a good visit with Zorry last evening at the Ontario TA. Always good to meet up with fellow EOers :)

We also had a load to California, and got pre dispatched on a load right out. :) Just delivered near Phoenix, probably take a weekend break. Running low on hours ;)

Made it across the pass. They finally took the chain control off around noon their time yesterday. Very snowy, but roads were just wet. The pass never closed, but they were requiring chains. Fun.
