Col...he's green and has a ways to go about the little things...and man there is a lot of little things, half of I don't remember till the situation comes up....That 1-2 extra loads a month based on knowledge, experience can make the difference between success or failure...

I don't know how the Bolt system works....sometimes dispatchers won't or can't give DH but they'll bump the rate or may justify giving you tolls....but if you don't ask they won't offer either...Some people will tell you, you shouldn't have to ask..That dispatch should give you what the loads...

Lets just group them all that pay the flat rate system on the FSC....and ya know you ya are.....:eek:

True...one could sit tight and if it's chasable they'll pay ya to DH it one way or the tuther....

Dennis...asking list DH frontend, DH backend, Layover, help with tolls...whichever may apply...

He did say they paid some of the miles back to the receiver....This coulda been in leu of layover...but asking never hurts...:D

At least with Bolt being a bit smaller they'll have more gaps to fill...more opps to move ya to where they might have thier own customers...if dispatch is on the ball this can really help....

E-1 is .08 last week...for C/V's and sprinters....but we still have a lot of customers paying the buck for a sprinter load...so it helps offset the .70 centers

They seem to be a stubborn bunch...they are hangin in...I like you are waiting for them to drop out...as cruel as that sounds...

We at E-1 run .70 NLM loads...or whatever they decide is a major contract... Are the dispatchers throwing a little DH money in the pot to help compensate? you know 10-20 bucks?

I did pretty well the last 4 weeks out...had one what you would call bad week....and one massive week and 2 well pretty good...so overall it averaged out...as it's been said...you have to look long term, not weekly....this is not for the feint of heart.
