No different then a Canadian driver/O/O....he needs a load to get back to Canada because by law thats the only way to go..he can not interstate...he'll likely take a load cheaper to get home then an American driver would...it is natural...a Mexican driver will do the same thing to get back to...

this all started out ..I was just pointing out some may not agree....I did not say I did agree...but there are 2 sides to every discussion. My bottomline would be: As long as these Mexican truckers are made to run to American standards as the Canadians have to do...and bear the same...

Apparently the roads to the industrial areas are said to be good....now get off the beaten track is different story...it is their own rumors and fears that keep them out....like some don't do NYC or LA...any safer there? Not likely.

Point taken...BUT..these trucks will still have to pass American standards when in the US....you think states are going to bow to the Feds? I think not.... US drivers can also go into Mexico and chose not too..out of fear or reputation. That is their problem. Do you think a Mexican driver is...

Not highly likely...that would translate into about $80k gross... Most van drivers can eeck out between 50-70k gross a year. At 40% would be about 20-28K.

Law and Order is the responsibility of every citizen where possible... I've watched police videos of truckers throwing up rolling roadblocks to slow a high speed chase many times...had they not gotten involved innocent people may have been killed if they had not sacrificed their trucks...

yeah well government has a track record of doing the ridiculous at times and making a mess of it.. They could also require anyone that does interstate have a CDL and make extra money.
