anyone ever met some of the stellar drivers out there? I mean some of them are dump as a stump..not just ES either..why besides being a steering wheel holder are they even driving?

Agreed...she should not have been penalized. I hope them high and mighty get a real dose of reality one day. I just woke up and did not quite absorb....sorry

Read the story carefully.....The owner gave her 10 days to find a partner...he reneged and after only 3 days yanked her out...he went back on his word...the driver should not have been penalized.

Good point about the personal deductions they flew right over my head... and about the per hour rate...I don't log.I can't really say but down here us lowlys, most consider to be on duty 24/7 unless OOS officially..so the per hour rate sucks in the big picture..

Reading all the above...How the heck can ES even lay claim to independent driver operators...they look to be spoon fed and babysat.....they decide little...go here, do this...and so on...gee whiz...they'd have a good case to be employees in the IRS eyes..

If a married couple do 3,000 miles a week....they'll get $1,050 , an unrelated would be half that at $525 a week....for not having any real responsibilities other then just driving, ain;t such a bad gig...for a wheel holder....don't even have to do any logging...just drive.....3,000 should be...

Last time it was "fixed" made it a whole 120 miles or so before the sputtering started again....my confidence has been say shaken somewhat....I want to go to KC really...same DH almost as Memphis....I may get outta town and get thru Dallas before rush hour and head that way.....I just may eat...

Had that relationship with my Canadian Carrier...they used me I used them...once you know how they work you can use it to your advantage....I made some good money once I knew the working rules.....Not a premium way to contract, but it worked...
