Welcome to August Please Save Us!!! Location Forum

I just saw one yesterday as I drove by the Ford dealer in Port Huron. High Top, not sure on the length, but looked pretty big. Can't say my heart didn't skip a couple of beats when I saw it :p

Thanks to the storm, I got to see if my new vent fan in the bathroom would leak again after 2 attempts to correct it. Not a drop of water this time :) After all the delays I've had with my home, I'm pretty numb to the feeling. But the lovely folks at Comcast are not helping things with the...

    Tragedy on the race track.

Tragic and preventable. A sad reminder as to what not to do during a race :(

I must have the only home work crew that can stretch out a jobs till the day before I go back into service  Just down to some minor patch work in the bathroom, I highly doubt they will be able to paint it also today. But either way, the clock as expired  ---On a bright...

    My Battle of the Bulge

I'm really ready to get back on the wagon again. After all, you can only have so many consecutive days of pizza without becoming one  ---Annual physical went really good. Dr. was very impressed with my weight loss. Blood pressure was down, and he said I was doing, "phenomenal ". :)

    My Battle of the Bulge

Outstanding Ken! You beat me to that grand mark :D I've pretty much been on hiatus from trying to lose weight for the past month with all my home moving and stuff. Fortunately, with all the calorie burning involved, I'm only up 10 pounds. The way I've been eating I'll gladly accept that...

The end is near  At least as far as the major home repairs is concerned. If all goes as planned, today should be the last day :) Then I can focus back on the little things, like finding everything again

As if I needed more headaches with my consistently inconsistent house projects crew, Drama enters the picture. The husband heads the crew, the wife is doing the painting. Over the weekend something major happened between them, and the Wife took the kid and moved out of the house. Now neither can...

    Going Green?

Guess I'll have to wait for the Ford Transit Diesel after all

    Going Green?

Settlements going green? Maybe I need more insight into fleet vision, but right now it seems like a major inconvenience. For the last few years, keeping up on records has been pretty easy. Weekly settlement emailed, transfer to a file and all done. Now if I understand it correctly, after...

    happy july.

All the constant delays with my home projects is getting on my nerves. Had to re-schedule my annual physical twice now (not that I was looking forward to it.) Funny, hiring a painter to speed things up seemed like a good idea at the time

Sorry to hear about your dad Guido, thoughts and prayers out to you and all who were touched by this loss.

Was it worth it? Never had one myself. I'm just a black, no fancy things I can't say, coffee drinker

    Looks like Obamacare nightmares continue

Love it or hate it. I doubt a wording problem about who can and can't receive a subsidy based on where they signed up will bring it down. If it does have to go to the less than supreme court... well, enough said

The Feds Criminally Charge The Fed

Does seem like a crock by the Feds. They can allege anything they want. But may have to point the finger at there own USPS. I would image a lot of illegal things get sent without their knowledge. After all, "If it fits, it ships"

Bank robbers are still with us.

Odd that the first thing it reminded me of was the Hollywood shootout from 1997. Warning: Final 9 mins of shootout
