Well I've tried electric heat..and even a 1500 watt heater just doesn't make the grade and that takes a Honda 2000 to run that and you won't get a full nights sleep unless you have the auxillary tank to run it.... An 800 watt heater will run that Honda at full power..remember you can't run 1,000...

Keep in mind you'll never have a full tank of fuel for long....2500 lbs would be fine...when I am on a heavier load I never quite fill the tank...
