Things have continued the downhill spiral over the time....some get a better rate because it is their own customer and it does not hit the boards......the boards are a free for all....

It would be a little different say a van got $1.50 going in....and say takes that.50 outbound....total $2.00 or $1.00 ALL miles...it is the only way to rationalize it.....

The guy beside me was 8 days down there and took one for .50 Dave.... That is my point Dave..the "market forces" are some of these carriers own doing, over the last while they have set up this "Market Force" scenerio.....The only way to stop this insanity is to stop cutting each others...

Ya see Dave..some carriers strategy is let em sit for a week down there, because it doesn't cost them anything and then offer them a rope out and most will grab for it..... and then they claim it "market forces".....Bull crap...I don't buy into it...

I don't agree somewhat....we are Independent Owner Operators...I do consider anyone in my class of van competition within the carrier....I WANT that load before you....and I'll have the better advantage to run that load that comes up....able to carry weight, volume, moving blankets and the rest...

Not really..she believes the company line....I would imagine she tells recruits...."there will be times when dispatch asks you to take a lower rate, you can turn it down"....that covers about the whole thing...

Always keep in mind we are paid to take every back lane, cow path, nature trail, thru the school yard, for the shortest way on the paid miles....LOL Always double check your route before setting out... Oh be careful on 35/33...troopers love that highway!!
