    Mexican Trucks and Bus's

So, this brings me back to my original question. How does this example support your concern? American bus and truck drivers have rear ended vehicles in this very fashion. They've had every type of accident you can come up with, roll overs, running off the road into the woods or the median, you...

    Mexican Trucks and Bus's

Yes, I did read it. It didn't say anything about the nationality of the driver. It did say that the Los Angeles based bus started its trip in central Mexico. So, this bus is subject to the same rules and regulations as Greyhound or any other U.S. bus company.

    Proof for Per Diem

When you say non-CDL, do you mean under 10,000 GVW? You could be non-CDL between 10k and 26k and still have to run a log. If you're going cargo van, some run a log book just for IRS purposes. I kept a journal that I record expenses in, along with locations.

    Attention Hino Owners

How can that be? An '08 truck has to be built to handle ULSD. If it isn't, that's Hinos fault.

    Mexican Trucks and Bus's

I hear ya! I put that fancy hydraulic suspension on my truck so I can bounce the front end up and down and fit in with the locals next time I go. I also got some HUGE pants that'll hang half way down my massive rear end.

    Mexican Trucks and Bus's

This thread really doesn't make sense. The article is about a U.S. based bus that went into Mexico, then came back to the U.S. Did you actually read the article Bruno? Los Angeles, Ca. is in the U.S.

    March 2010 Location

I'm at the Atlanta Petro. Good-freakin'-bye February, don't let the door hit you on the way out. Had a fun Saturday at the Georgia Dome. The Supercross was excellent. Instead of a very expensive cab ride from the Petro, I took MARTA. What a cultural experience that was!

    Logging off duty for breaks

Crazy, I think it has to do with the operating authority on this issue. I own my truck, I'm an IC, but I operate under the authority of the company. To try to say it better, the carrier is responsible for DOT compliance. This would be in line with things like keeping logs and inspections on file.

    Help staying awake naturally

And, why do some assume that because something is "natural" it's O.K.? Let's munch down some magic mushrooms, it's natural! Those hallucinations will be perfectly safe.

    10 Job Sectors in Decline

Can that really be more than just a statistical blip? In towns that have both a KMart and Wal-Mart, the KMart will have an empty parking lot. My hometown of Alpena is a great example. When I go into the KMart it seems like it's just me and the employees, while at the same time the Wally World...

    cargo/van sleeper photos

I agree with Moot, and not just because I'm terrified of the consequences if I didn't. My van had a bulkhead, so I never did 3. But, I know several other people that have done it. It does raise the question of what a "standard" skid is. 48x40, 48x45, 48x48...

    scoring brownie points in michigan

By the letter of the law, it is illegal in Mich. I asked at the SOS how that can be when we have returnable containers. I was told that officers can make a judgment call on it. If it's obvious you're returning them, no problem. If it appears you're drinking, there's a problem.

While expedite is often referred to as hotshot, it's a different critter. Being in oil country, true hotshot may be just what you need to fit in with your fire fighting. What you're looking to do wouldn't work well with expedite, needing to get back in a couple of days. Try a hotshot website.
