Exactly..its the silica aka sand....it'll rear apart a turbo....there is a reason for the increased MPG it doesn't filter the air as good....doesn't "appear" to effect gas engines tho...

Just how in the world did you expect a driver to check the oil during a pretrip? Your driver is filing a false pretrip report. That be a CSA violation right there....Why did you not get it replaced? Seems Bruno, you bear some responsibility as well...

There was a Petro years ago I think it was Atlanta...that wouldn't let you into the drivers area unless you had a CDL...I remember because I had to explain my Canadian CDL to them...

Regardless....many times after a trip to the shop and they mech says you are good to go many drivers just hop in the seat and go......they don't do the pretrip inspection...they "think" everything "should" be ok.....WRONG......Had the driver done a pretrip...the shortage...
