I cubed out my van once. I filled it with wall mount tables and pedestals for a Perkins restaurant. I had to load and unload the van several times to get it all to fit. Finally got it all pieced in and away I went.

I think a one hour grace period is fair. Panther won't pay the driver until after the second hour, which is one hour too long.

I agree. Excellent advise. I would like to add a few things. Always check the floor for nails and other debris. Whenever possible I would remove drums from pallets and roll them on top of cardboard on the floor. I don't like hauling drums on pallets. I know it's extra work kicking them...
