Picked up in Markle IN and taking it down to Laredo TX. Saturday delivery, get to spend the weekend exploring Laredo. Plan on staying at the state park there instead of the J. Bad week just turned out to be good. Only 3rd load this week but I'll have 2,750+ miles when I arrive in TX.

Loaded again. Took a load from Stratford Ontario and going to Columbus Indiana.

I saw a weather band radio at Menard's on Saturday for $11 or $12 in their Christmas specials area of the store, by all the other electronics like headphones, radios, DVD players, ect. Looked like it might be what you want. Not sure if it auto tunes or not.

I've only been doing this for about 15 months. But I bet over half the loads I take would not be legal in a 1500. Just ran 2,200# across the Rockies to Utah. Couldn't do that with a 6 cylinder 1500. My Loads range from a small hand carried box to 3,500#. I can guarantee I would be driving less...

MT in Layton UT

On my way to Wright WY, then onto Layton UT. Started in Milwaukee, round trip load so also ends in Milwaukee. Might be late for Turkey Day, but being round trip, I couldn't refuse! :-D

Planning on being home by Tuesday night. Home now, if I don't like my offers on Monday, may just take the whole week off. Definitely start running again the Monday after Turkey Day.

MT in Milwaukee. Driving the 5 miles to home. OOS until Wednesday late afternoon.

Got to my delivery in Grand Island NE. Called in pod, they already had a load coming out of Grand Island going right back to Milwaukee. Some days it just works out better then others. I'm at the Bosselmans/Pilot right now, really a great truck stop!

The Firestones are HT, not AT. I'm guessing here, Highway Tread or All Terrain.

I have a choice of 4 new Bridgestone Vsteel tires or Firestone Transforce HT tires on new GM wheels. Which would be the better choice? Which would go more miles and which would have better winter traction? Also has Hankook or Michelin but those are on Ford rims. I really don't want to swap out...
