    Took the ferry from Vancouver across to Vancouver Island for a delivery. Really an excellent experience. I agree, it's a great feeling to be paid the milage while not even driving. I also got reimbursed the cost of round trip ferry on top of my milage rate. Good time!

    Moot, your exactly right. The fuel pump either works or doesn't. If the filter was partly plugged, you would get some surging when accelerating or when running high speeds or climbing long inclines. I won't spend the $500 - $700 for the pump and labor until it stops running. I will be doing...

    I was told on my 06 4.8 that the filter is in the fuel tank and not serviceable. It gets changed when you get a new fuel pump. It sucks, I would like to change mine also!

    Where where you that your gen got stolen? Was it mounted to your truck or on the ground running? Theft is a concern for me also. Hate to wake up cold and find my gen gone.

    What material are the trones made of? They seem too inexpensive to be very heavy duty. They are only $39.95 for 3 of them. Do they hold up well with stuff in them? Will they hold my steel toe safety shoes? They look like a great idea, hang them on the walls above wheel wells.
