When I first got on with Panther I had my door decals put on by their shop. The decals are still on and so are the doors.

Not me. Panther has been running my butt off the last couple of weeks. Got a 600+ mile load that brought me within 90 miles of home last night. Slept in this morning and then restocked my van, changed the oil and greased the front end. I figured being #2, on a Friday and a 4 a day board, that...
I've got to disagree with you on this one Sunshine State Boy. I saw a similar statement like this when I first joined E.O. and didn't respond because I was a newbie and the poster wasn't. Also I'm just an ignorant van O/O. I should have challenged him then, but didn't, so now I'm picking on...
When your mechanic drops the pan, replaces the filter, scrapes and cleans gasket remains, installs a new gasket, has a smoke and a cup of coffee my guess is that 85% to 90% of the transmission fluid has drained.
It depends on the state issuing the IRP plate. I drove a company owned Ford E-350 with an IRP plate on the front and a license plate sized sign on the rear stating IRP Power Unit, plate on front.

Thanks WS! I wasn't losing any sleep trying to decipher the ccc but I was curious. The Officer Krupke song has been stuck in my head so last night's extra hour of sleep helped. Gee officer Krupke, Krup you.
This is the third or forth time you have used the term ccc. At the risk of sounding ignorant, which has never stopped me from posting before, what does ccc stand for?

That one is pretty funny considering one of the main...
If you go to a transmission specialist and say you think there is something wrong with your transmission, you are going to get a new transmission. Even if the problem was a bad U-joint, you will get a new transmission and the U-joint will get replaced for free.
Greetings Mr. Wilson. You are wise to discount most of the advice you get here on E.O. Too many on here look at your situation through the eyes of a driver or single unit O/O (owner/operator). I would even write off the advice of Davekc. He's in this business for the long haul so to speak by...
Good deal! Sure beats buying a new transmission. I'm curious as to what engine you have and how many miles on it. When I have my transmission serviced, rather than the flush my mechanic drops the pan and replaces the filter and refills with new fluid.
I wouldn't go to a transmission shop unless I knew my van had a transmission problem. I'm not saying they're trying to rip you off, but they are in the transmission business and that leaky radiator line could be fixed with a complete tranny rebuild.
