No, they didn't wear their powder blue jerseys. It was a preseason exhibition game against some team called the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. The Tiger-Cats had a logo/patch thing on their sleeves. Looked like a football coming out of a giant maple leaf. Very strange!

Qualcomm, that's it! I knew his name started with a Q. Hugh and his wife Kalya are joint owners of Sylectus. They recently sold off their photographic portrait division, Selectus, to concentrate more on their latest acquisition, Sylectus and of course that satellite thingie they do. Hugh...

    Panther is a scam.

I don't know if it is a "big lawsuit", but someone is suing them. I got a call from a couple of shysters working for a law firm in California about this a few months ago. Apparently there is one or more plaintiffs filing suit against Panther. According to the lawyer that called me (I don't...

This is for you English Lady , where ever you may be.

I'm a Monty Python, Mr. Bean and Wallace and Gromit fan. I also was a regular viewer of The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin when it was rebroadcasted on PBS and my favorite quick breakfast is an English muffin with Rose's Key Lime marmalade.

Our Pal Al, get the Gorie details here

I lifted the following from the linked article: " She lives in Southern California, is in her 50s, and is serious enough with 64-year-old Gore that she traveled with him (and, quirkily, Jason Mraz and Tommy Lee Jones) to Antarctica this year on a climate change awareness trip...

Metal channel for securing curtain in cab?

Hey hoser, check this out: Curtain Track: 8' Stick Channel Track, Choose Finish - Curtain Track Parts and Supplies Probably not made in Germany, will that be a problem? I believe Sirius channel 40 is a metal channel, at least that's what I've been told. I don't have satellite radio.

    I ask twice!

It is true in the world of general air freight. I believe you fly character air freight, pretty much one shipper and one consignee. You aren't dealing with a hundred or more shipments. I'm sure if you wanted to and it was practical, you could re-weigh each shipment before loading to verify...

    What am I doing wrong?.........

If you can't make it as an O/O, how do you expect to keep a "few good drivers" after a 60/40 or whatever split? Maybe you should concentrate more on the here and now of single truck O/O and forgo thoughts of fleet ownership for awhile. Get the one truck thing figured out first. Baby steps!
