    TruckerPetition.Org

I like the idea of treating this as a civil rights issue and presenting the petition to the U.S Commission on Civil Rights. Going this route has been very successful for just about every minority that has tried it. The name of this petition, the Driver Sovereignty Bill, sounds a bit pushy...

    Another deranged cop attacks

May I suggest the next time you are carrying a concealed gun and get stopped by a LEO, politely ask the officer if he believes he is the only one with right to be armed before you respond to his question as to if you are armed. I believe Mr. Pierson's intention was to get stopped, initiate a...

I don't believe it is a story but at least it gave Mr. Grigg something to blog about and tap into his warehouse of unused adjectives.

Just about anything you want to monitor and a whole bunch of stuff you never knew needed monitoring. Some of the basic gauges show water temp, air intake temp, voltage, mph, rpm, tps, map fuel pressure, fuel system loop status, cpm, average mpg etc. If you get the E model ScanGauge you can...

    Another deranged cop attacks

Oooh, oooh, I've got it; hussy! The cop was a hussy. A big hussy. So, the cop was really a woman dressed like a man. Sounds like a clear cut case of the cop being a transvestite. Possibly the cop was a transsexual or transgender or had an intersex condition. He was a she or she was a he...

Anyone tried this [cobra venom for pain] yet?

I've never tried cobra venom but have had several sessions with a boa constrictor for my back problems instead of going to a chiropractor. How do you know cobra venom isn't addicting? You could end up joining one of those snake handling religions to feed your jones.

    Atlas Shrugged 2 the movie

No problem. If I had to label her I'd tag her as more of a conservative. In that regard she did an excellent job! Since Atlas Shrugs was published this country has seen; LBJ's "Great Society", the creation of the D.O.E., as a result of a "national emergency" and more recently the creation of...

    Ringtones for dispatch

I don't have a special ringtone for dispatch. All incoming calls have the same ringtone, Little Wing. If I had different ringtones I would never know if it was my phone ringing or some other phone. I do have a very special photo that appears on my phone screen when dispatch calls: .

I think the ScanGauge is a great investment. I've usually got my gauge screen set to show RPM, voltage, intake air temp and water temp. I can easily toggle back and forth between the gauge screen and the fuel consumption screen. I quickly perused the link Purgoose provided and the...

    Gas prices

Prior to buying my first van I sat down and ran a bunch of numbers to see if I could make a living doing the van expedite thing. I used a $1.50/gallon for gasoline as worst case benchmark. If gas went above a $1.50 then it would be tough to make a living.

I agree with the Goose, get a ScanGauge! I've got the old giant clunky style ScanGauge velcroed to my dash. I don't leave home without it.

    Atlas Shrugged 2 the movie

My comment was based on the general theme of the book and the possibility that some of that general theme may find its way into the movie. The only writing of Rand's that I have read is Atlas Shrugged, a work of fiction. Somewhere I read her brief bio. I know she was an atheist but I'm having...

    Crossover mirror

Thanks Zorry. I've had a couple experiences with mirrors that gave me a glimpse into the universe next door and twice I entered that universe through elevators, but always made it back safely. I hope I am never required to have a crossover mirror on my van. I'm afraid I might cross over and...
