I agree... I pay $100 for insurance and zero for QC fees. I'd rather pay the QC fees and be working for a real carrier that can get me real paying loads. I'm still researching the right one that doesn't have forced dispatch or some percentage program where you don't know what you're making...

Ran a load yesterday MI to SC for .80 a mile... made me sad but I did it! Panther Cargo Van drivers that work for fleet owners only make .20 less :confused:

Why does your bid always get outbid because there is someone needing to go home and willing to take it cheap or someone is sitting in the back of a cargo van hunched over on their laptop at the local truck stop putting a bid in themselves for .60 to .75 a mile. Better reason to find a carrier...

So if I can't drop 30-35k on the truck and don't have another 10k for a box and 10k for a used sleeper don't get into a straight? Stick to sprinter and keep saving... Looking like a decent straight that I would want to go coast to coast in would cost me 45-60k when it is all said and done...
