Just to show you how low rates are $1850 wouldn't take a 2200 mile run today out of LA. My second bid was 1700 but it was too late by the time carrier called back customer.. Only going to run 30 more days at these rates then will look for a higher rate. ;) yeee haw

I wish mercedes would invent a jumbo sprinter that could get 20-25 mpg and be able to haul 5-7k lbs 6-12 skids :) That would suck for straights though... it will never happen though one of these will work...

Expediting must be coming to a concluding point for vans... who will make it, who will give up and go home ? May awaits... this month will certainly determine much more. :)

I carry a stack of about 50+ TA fuel receipts with me at all times. Anytime I need a shower I just go up the clerk after I've fueled and say I'd like a shower with that... (25-27 gal tank) and it always works. I get a discount through my carrier at TA. Last fill was $3.60 a gal with the $1.50...
