If I was still driving at Panther that would have put me at .78 per mile. That's .46 per mile to driver before fuel is taken into account with a 60/40 split. That's .38 to the driver per mile after fuel. No one could have comprehended that in 2011!! Where is all the money going, are they cutting...

Heard Tri State is paying $1 a mile. Might be worth a call to confirm.

So what is the cargo van fuel surcharge at Panther? Anyone know the contract rate for new sign on owners? It was .70 a mile plus fuel surcharge. How can anyone make it for less then that.

It seems Cargo Van rates are .75 to .85 w/ surcharge for most carriers with other carriers paying .90-$1.00 a mile offering less miles per week. With average mileage guarantees by recruiters around 1000-1500 depending on carrier. Can someone chime in and give us something a little more of what...

Well if you can't get out of a area/city usually wait it out 24-48 on a weekday and either empty move or if they don't want to empty move you, you can ask owner if he will split the fuel to go to a better location with more freight... BTW anyone know what the current fuel surcharge rate is for...

So is that .70 cent rate per mile with the surcharge? I wish there was a monthly report and every carrier would post their rates. I've been clearing over a buck a mile moving private goods but it takes strategical business planning and a lot of one on one messaging to customers and the freight...

Transmission dipstick comes in use. My Sprinters have never left me stranded only when working on them. I've never broke down when running. Can't wait for new model to come out. I'm hoping they ride like Volvo's with the air ride Cadillac feel. The old ones will beat you up. I just did 760 miles...
