Has anyone replaced a fuel pump on a 2004 or newer GM van? I have an 04 Chevy, 6.0 with the fuel filter integrated into the fuel pump. This past week I noticed a high pitched whining noise coming from what I suspect is the fuel pump, or more correctly the fuel filter causing the pump to work...

I don't think 125" will cut it as a 3 skid van. I would think most carriers would require a minimum of 144" of floor space to be considered a 3 skidder.

Excellent advice! What I posted was my actual costs for maintaining the van as it came from the factory. As noted, this did not include add-ons like auxiliary batteries, stereo system and other creature comforts. A nickle/mile would allow for some variance and be a good base figure.

Actually the total is 9. I replaced one myself Thanksgiving day because my mechanic was closed the Friday after Thanksgiving. They got the alternator under warranty, I installed it so there was no labor charges. The nine alternators works out to 81,000 per alternator. The original...
