    GM Fuel Pump

    That isn't necessary on the newer GMs. The late 1990's and early 2000s were notorious for burning up fuel pumps. I ran into many vanners that did just that. My 1998 went about 185,000 before the pump died. Most puked at 100,000. I attribute the extra life to fueling before reaching a ¼ tank...

    Sleeper on m2 straight 26ft

    I worked for a company when 48 footers became legal. They began stretching their existing 40 and 42 footers. These were interior post and skin construction. They would cut the trailer somewhere near the center, off setting the frame cuts and add in the 6 or 8 feet. I would think this same...

    GM Fuel Pump

    This van has 732,000 miles on it. This is the one and only fuel pump I plan on putting in it.

    GM Fuel Pump

    It's an OEM pump at $541. I put a fuel pump in my 1998 Chevy in 2001 for about $800 but that included a 3 mile tow. This fuel pump has its very own built in fuel filter.

    GM Fuel Pump

    I got my fuel pump replaced today. Parts, labor, shop supplies and tax, $889.54. I'm glad I had it replaced before it failed on the road.

    Night Driving Glasses

    If they never get completely clear wouldn't that reduce the amount of light available to the pupils?

    Night Driving Glasses

    This link Road Time provided explains why yellow glasses should not be worn for night driving. I read some of the comments at the end of the article. It seems that most of the people that wear yellow lenses for driving also have prescription glasses with transition lenses. I have never owned...

    Looking Both Ways To Van or Not to Van : Looking Both Ways

    I took my road test in a 1958 B model with a triplex. Split bench seat, armstrong steering, no cruise or air. My first couple years driving in addition to B models, also included R and F models. Again, no power steering, no air-ride seats, no AC or cruise and all had either a duplex or...

    Looking Both Ways To Van or Not to Van : Looking Both Ways

    I have had an inkling. For the past several years I tell myself and my van: Get me through this winter and I will put you to rest and buy bigger. If this American made slop bucket would just die... I'm real close to buying a GM cube. Probably a Unicel CW 14 footer if the empty weight works.

    What does your screen name mean?

    I lived in a house with 8 guys in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Six of them were from Virgina, MN. Also known as The Range. The Mesabi Iron Range where men are men and 70% of the women are too. One day I stopped at the local bakery and picked up day old bread. I bought loaves of white, rye and...

    Quiting = no pay?

    No need for an apology. It wouldn't mean much anyway.

    Quiting = no pay?

    I guess you didn't make it past the FedEx orientation because of a failed drug test. Didn't you drink enough free water and juices to dilute your urine? You should also try a laxative because you come off as being full of it...

    I have a feeling this person is here to stir the pot or he/she is the problem and not the carriers. This from a post about Load One http://www.expeditersonline.com/forum/general-expediter-forum/59211-load1-pj-shower-arrangement-3.html#post625030 This person also has claimed to have been...

    GM Fuel Pump

    This one is the original with 732,000 miles. The fuel pump in my 98 only lasted about 185k with a new filter every 30,000 miles. Which was pretty good for that vintage.
