It's never good to have a load board with everybody making bids on work,the long term effects will be expedited freight costing the same as regular freight and the big companys with subcontracts having most of the work.

Thanks for the comments,i think the black boxes will be in all commercial vehicles in the next 3-5 years also look for them in personal vehicles in the next 8-10.I have vans so we don't log [yet] accept for a couple states,most of the complaints i hear are from the expediters who run single.

I to have enjoyed all the comments,I can say for myself that if i wasn't making the money i needed to make in expediting i would find something else to do.I am wondering were your at with your business plan? are you still gonna follow threw,or try something else.

RE: Ford Not for me,my fear will turn to faith after i see one with 500,000 miles on,and high praise from the driver.Plz keep us posted on how they hold up.

RE: Ford Nick,i have ford e350's a 99 and 02 along with a 03 GMC [gas] my first van was a 99 e350 gas.It's alot easier to get parts for the gas engines then the diesels,and most ford dealers have only one or two techs that can work on the diesels.I looked at sprinters,call there parts...

RE: Ford Thanks bigjimhp,i don't think Jag makes a diesel and if that van is for sale in Europe i bet it's a diesel.I hope it's the 6.0,i just don't see them importing the drivetrain over there.
